Our specialist outpatient service is for patients 16 years and over with diagnosed or suspected intellectual disability and/or autism and who have complex support needs. It’s run at Mater Hospital Brisbane and via telehealth for those outside Brisbane.
Our clinical team includes psychiatrists, psychiatry registrars, nurses, psychologists, a general practitioner, visiting rehabilitation medicine physician, occupational therapist, speech pathologist and social worker.

Making an appointment
To attend our clinic, patients need a referral from either a general practitioner, specialist or Queensland Mental Health Service for additional health assessment and advice. View our referral criteria here.
